PD Dr. Petra Gümplová

Member of the Equal Opportunities Board

Petra Gümplová received her PhD from the New School for Social Research, New York in 2010. She has worked at Charles University, Prague, and at the Universities of Giessen and Erfurt. Her research fields include modern and international political theory and global justice with substantive focus on natural resources and human rights. In April 2021, she obtained a Habilitation at Max Weber College at the University of Erfurt with a work entitled Rights to Natural Resources and Justice. On this topic and others, Petra Gümplová has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
