Prof. Dr. Carsten Herrmann-Pillath

Carsten Herrmann-Pillath ist Professor und Fellow am Max-Weber-Kolleg für kultur- und sozialwissenschaftliche Studien an der Universität Erfurt. Seine transdisziplinäre Forschung umfasst Wirtschaftsphilosophie, Evolutions-, Ökologie- und Institutionenökonomie sowie Chinastudien. Im Jahr 2023 wurde die Summa seiner Arbeit veröffentlicht (gemeinsam mit Christian Hederer): „A New Principles of Economics. The Science of Markets“ (Routledge). Im Sonderforschungsbereich leitet er das Teilprojekt „Hybride Eigentumsordnung im Staatskapitalismus. Eigentümergesellschaft, sozioökonomische Differenzierung und Gouvernementalität am Beispiel Shenzhen, China“.  Außerdem ist er leitender Forscher des Projekts COEVOLVERS, das durch das EU-Programm Horizont Europa für Forschung und Innovation finanziert wird.
