Jaivir Singh is a professor at the Centre for Law and Government Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Over the years, he has held academic positions at the University of Delhi, the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, and the University of Sydney in Australia. He has also been awarded the prestigious Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowship (Research).
His research is based on an interdisciplinary approach in the fields of law and economics. His extensive publications cover a wide range of topics, including the Indian Constitution, regulation, labor law, competition law, corporate law, and international investment agreements.
