Maria Neuhauss

Maria Neuhauss, M.A. in Social Theory, is a predoctoral fellow at the Collaborative Research Center "Structural Change of Property." She studied history and social sciences at the University of Erfurt and social theory at the University of Jena. During her studies, she also spent two years abroad in Xi'an, China, and Taipei, Taiwan, in order to learn Chinese. In preparation for her doctoral project, she investigates the fragmented workforce of emerging players in the automotive industry, such as Tesla and CATL. Her research focuses on divisions along lines of migration, ethnicity, and citizenship.

Research interests: Sociology of work and industry, sociology of trade unions, capitalism and class theory, theories of racism, socio-ecological transformation, feminist theory.
