Andrea Dietl completed her bachelor's degree in business administration in Regensburg and her master's degree in management in Vienna. Afterwards, she began to work at the University of Regensburg in 2021 as a study program coordinator in the Faculty of Business and Economics. Since March 2023, she is working as a research assistant at the Chair of General Business Administration, in particular Strategic and International Management, at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena and mainly as a member of the SFB subproject B03. Here she is researching, based on the problem of competitive balance, how soccer has opened up to private ownership in the course of increasing commercialization, internationalization and professionalization, and what social effects this has had.
