Prof. Dr. Klaus Dörre

Prof. Dr. Klaus Dörre is Chair for Sociology of Work, Economic and Industrial Sociology at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, was one of the directors of the DFG-Research Group on Post-Growth Societies from 2011 to 2021, is responsible for the Zentrum Digitale Transformation Thüringen (ZeTT) together with Prof. Kraußlach and is editor in chief of the Berliner Journal für Soziologie (BJS) and was co-editor of the Global Dialogue from 2018-2022. His research focuses on theory of capitalism/financial market capitalism, precarious employment, strategic unionism, digitalization and right-wing populism.
