Lisa-Marie Hase studied Political Science in Regensburg and completed her master's degree in Social Theory at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. In her Master's thesis, she examined the role of bodies in feminist protests and their relevance for agency. Since February 2026, she is a research assistant in subproject C02, “The Dynamics of the Reproductive Economy: Forms of Appropriation in Global Fertility Chains” of the Collaborative Research Centre “Structural Change of Property”. There, she focuses on so-called “employee benefits” in the context of assisted reproductive technologies such as social egg freezing, IVF, etc., and their connection to global reproductive markets. Her research interests include gender studies and sociology of the body.
