Luisa Jürgens studied Philosophy and Cultural Studies at the University of Leipzig, and Social Theory at Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena and the University of Vienna, graduating in June 2024. Her master’s thesis critically analysed the implementation of the Community Wealth Building policy approach in North West England. Since August 2022, she has worked as a research assistant for sub-project C04, "Debating the Public Sphere and the Future of the Commons: Property Relations in the Context of Welfare State Transformation." Since July 2024, she has held a pre-doctoral scholarship with the same project, preparing her dissertation in which she will focus on a sociological analysis of the property relations in infrastructure systems.
