Issues of property are fundamentally characterized by inequality. Against this background, the SFB strives for a diversity of its staff. Specific experiences of people with an East German or non-academic background, with experiences of racism and migration and different genders broaden the perspectives on the research subject. Therefore, we expressly encourage underrepresented groups in science to apply. Severely disabled persons and those with equal status are given preference in the case of equal suitability, professional performance, and ability.
