Simon Gurisch is a philosopher. He studied philosophy, sociology, and art history at Goethe University Frankfurt. In 2022, he received his PhD from the Department of Philosophy at Goethe University with a dissertation entitled: Die Verfassung des Lebens. Die politische Form der Vergesellschaftung durch Individuation bei J. Habermas und G.W.F. Hegel.
His research focuses on political philosophy and philosophy of law, with particular emphasis on early Critical Theory, Historical Materialism, and German Idealism.
He is currently a member of the project A06 „The normative foundations of property: Digital property“.
