Christoph Henning is Full Professor of Philosophy and Humanism at the University of Humanistic Studies, Utrecht. His research focuses mainly on political philosophy and the ethics of perfectionism, the history of ideas of Marxism and critical theory, modern theories of culture, and philosophies of nature. After receiving his PhD from TU Dresden, he worked at Zeppelin University (as a postdoc and as a substitute professor). He habilitated in philosophy in Switzerland (at the University of St. Gallen) and was a Fellow in Philosophy and a researcher at the Max Weber College of the University of Erfurt since 2014.
