Christoph Henning is a philosopher and sociologist specialising in political philosophy and the ethics of perfectionism, the history of ideas of Marxism and critical theory, modern theories of culture, and philosophies of nature. After receiving his PhD from TU Dresden, he worked at Zeppelin University (as a postdoc and as a substitute professor). He habilitated in philosophy in Switzerland (at the University of St. Gallen) and has been a Fellow in Philosophy at the Max Weber College of the University of Erfurt since 2014. Since the beginning of 2021, he is also active in the SFB Transregio 294 at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena in project C06: "Making Things Available".
